I will post here random facts about Serena. Give me your opinion, including new ideas for building this universe.

Fact #1:

Serena Prime, the capital city of Serena Beta (which is the planet we play on), is home to the Ancestral Crypts – a palace in which a Multi-cerebral Hub resides which is comprised of the most ancient brains alive. This is the source of Prime’s importance, power and influence. The First Council - Prime's board of leadership - consults with the Crypts and turns to them for advice. Arguments between the Crypts and the Council rarely ensue, as the council trusts the Crypts' wisdom. The Council, and by extension, most humans alive, appreciate the fact that the Crypts have been alive for centuries or more, and some of them have even known Eels during their lifetimes. As such, the Crypts are wise beyond comprehension, even of the most perceptive of Minds. Their thoughts often seem illogical or maybe even unreasonable, but they take into account events which happened before the existence of modern society. Most prominently, they can foresee disasters which already occurred in history. They know which path can lead society into these disasters again, but the Council itself cannot always lead society out of harm's way, since details of these disasters have been in many cases buried under the ocean floor [an idion].

Fact #2

In its red giant state, Serena Alpha, the sun of the Serena system, emitted a unique radiation which had an impact on all the planets of the system. Researchers don't know much about the scientific properties of this kind of light, since it stopped existing millions of years ago. It is more commonly known as Red Light, simply because it came from Alpha in its red giant state.
Serena Beta, or Earth, was the farthest planet form Alpha, which is the reason why it is the only planet that survived the nova. Prior to the nova it was a frozen planet which contained huge deposits of minerals. When Alpha exploded, it emitted a concentrated blast of Red Light, which was soaked into Beta's surface. Many of the minerals on Beta have the capability to store energy in many forms, and resultingly, the energy generated by the Red Light explosion charged those minerals.
These minerals overgo a slow process of deterioration during which their molecular structure loses its stability due to the large amount of energy they hold. As it happens, they begin to develop micro-fractures. In time, the fractures change their overall chemical structure into the crystal we know today as Luminum. Thus, the energy produced by Luminum in fact origins from that explosion of Red Light, which is released by weakening of the stability of minerals.


When Serena Alpha, the sun, exploded, Serena Beta soaked a blast of concentrated light This light is very slowly discharged onto the surface in the shape of Luminum.

Luminum is in fact light-enriched minerals. There is a certain type of mineral which is good at soaking light. This mineral is on the surface, and the light in Earth’s core slowly seeps into this mineral. The result is Luminum deposits.

Since the sun emitted Red Light before the nova, Serenum existed on Old Earth. Old Earth is a planet which existed prior to the explosion, and contained water and life. Humanity doesn’t know about life in Old Earth – only about the water. The life were only microbiological. The reason for the name Old Earth is because the environmental conditions on this planet are theorized to be similar to those on nowdays Earth.
